If you're traveling by car, start from the central area of Minho. Take the A3 highway towards Porto. After approximately 45 minutes, take the exit towards A1. Continue on A1 until you reach the exit for Vila Nova de Gaia. Merge onto N222 and follow the signs for Rua do Choupelo. The Atkinson Museum is located at Rua do Choupelo 132, 4400-088 Vila Nova de Gaia. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to park in designated areas. For those using public transportation, take a train from Minho to Vila Nova de Gaia. From Minho, board a train heading to Porto São Bento Station. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Rua do Choupelo. Follow the signs towards the river, and then head east along the waterfront to reach the museum.
