Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Braga from your current location in Minho. Use the A3 motorway and follow the signs for Braga. Once you reach Braga, take exit 61 for N101 towards Braga Centro. Continue on N101 until you reach the roundabout at Avenida da Liberdade. Take the second exit onto Rua do Cais and follow it until you hit another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rua do Monte do Picoto. You will find Parque do Monte do Picoto on your left. There is parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Parque do Monte do Picoto using public transportation, you can take a bus from central Braga. Head to the main bus terminal, Terminal Rodoviário de Braga, and look for buses going to 'Braga Monte do Picoto.' The journey typically takes about 20 minutes, and tickets cost around 2 euros. Once you arrive at the 'Monte do Picoto' stop, the park entrance will be a short walk away.

• Walking

  If you are already in Braga city center, you can reach Parque do Monte do Picoto on foot. Start at the Praça da República and head west on Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout, and take the second exit onto Rua do Cais. Follow the road until you reach another roundabout, then take the first exit onto Rua do Monte do Picoto. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and the park will be on your left.
