Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Nazaré. Head east on Avenida da República towards Rua 1º de Maio. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Rua do Norte, which will lead you towards the hill. Follow the signs for Monte de São Bartolomeu. There is limited parking available near the top, so arrive early if you want to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
To reach Monte de São Bartolomeu using public transportation, you can take a local bus from Nazaré. Look for the bus that goes towards the 'Monte de São Bartolomeu' area. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop nearest to the mountain, you may have a short walk of about 500 meters uphill to reach the viewpoint.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the center of Nazaré, start at the main beach area and head towards the Avenida da República. Proceed east until you reach the intersection with Rua do Norte. Follow this road uphill; it's a steep climb, so wear comfortable shoes. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
