Walking
If you're starting from the Ponte de Lima Bus Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenida da Liberdade). Turn left onto Avenida da Liberdade and continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the town square (Praça da República). From the square, walk towards the direction of the Ponte de Lima bridge (Ponte sobre o Lima). Cross the bridge and continue straight for about 250 meters. You will see Avenida dos Platanos on your left. It is a pleasant tree-lined avenue, perfect for a stroll.

If you are at the historical center of Ponte de Lima, head towards the Igreja Matriz (Main Church) and exit the plaza. From there, take Rua 25 de Abril, which leads you towards the river. Once you reach the riverfront, turn left and follow the path along the river until you spot Avenida dos Platanos on your right. This route provides beautiful views of the Lima River and the surrounding landscape.

From the Municipal Market (Mercado Municipal), exit the market and turn right onto Rua do Cais. Follow this street as it curves and leads you towards the river. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the riverside path until you come to Avenida dos Platanos, which will be on your left after approximately 400 meters. This route is ideal for enjoying local scenery and fresh air.
