Walking
From the center of Ponte de Lima, head east towards the Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua 1 de Maio. Turn left onto Rua 1 de Maio and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua Dr. Manuel Gomes da Silva. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by beautiful scenery and local shops. Look out for the signs indicating Cascata de Pincães as you approach, and soon you'll see the waterfall ahead on your left.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, rent one in Ponte de Lima and start from the main square (Largo de Camões). Ride north on Rua da Alegria until you reach the edge of town. Follow the bike path that leads towards the Ponte de Lima countryside. As you ride, keep an eye out for signposts pointing to Cascata de Pincães. The distance is about 2 kilometers, and it should take around 10 minutes to reach the waterfall. Enjoy the scenic ride through lush greenery!
Public Transport
Take the local bus service from Ponte de Lima to the nearest stop for Cascata de Pincães. Board the bus at the main bus station (Estação Rodoviária de Ponte de Lima) and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the closest stop. Once you get off, walk back a short distance along the road until you see a path leading to the waterfall. The total journey should take about 15-20 minutes, including waiting time.
