Walking
From the center of Ponte de Lima, head southwest on Av. Dr. João Lopes towards Rua da Alegria. Walk straight for about 200 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the N201 road. Continue along this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass through a scenic rural area. As you approach Barcelos, keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards the Ponte de Barcelos. Once you see the bridge, follow the pedestrian path that leads directly to it.
Bus
Head to the Ponte de Lima bus station located at Rua 5 de Outubro. Look for a bus heading towards Barcelos. The journey will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at the Barcelos bus station, exit the station and head southwest on Rua da Estação. Turn left onto R. Fernando Magalhães, and you will find the Ponte de Barcelos a short walk ahead.
