Walking
From the center of Ponte de Lima, head towards the main avenue, Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto N201 road heading north towards Melgaço. Continue walking along N201 for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Melgaço and Soalheiro. Follow the signs until you reach Charneca Alvaredo. Soalheiro will be located on your right.
Public Transport
From Ponte de Lima, head to the local bus station located near the historic center. Take the bus to Melgaço; it typically departs several times a day. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Melgaço, exit the bus station and head towards the N201 road. Turn left and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will find Soalheiro on your left at Charneca Alvaredo.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from several shops in Ponte de Lima. Once you have your bike, head towards Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra and then take the N201 road heading north towards Melgaço. The route is approximately 3 kilometers and is mostly flat. After reaching Charneca Alvaredo, you will find Soalheiro on your right side.
