From the central area of Baixa, head towards Avenida dos Aliados. Walk down Avenida dos Aliados until you reach the iconic São Bento Train Station. Once you’re in front of the station, turn left onto Rua de 31 de Janeiro. Follow this street until you reach the end where it intersects with Rua do Infante D. Henrique. Turn right onto Rua do Infante D. Henrique, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Miguel. Turn left onto Rua de São Miguel and keep walking until you reach the river. At this point, you will see the Douro River and the beautiful Jardim do Passeio Alegre at the end of the promenade, located on R. do Passeio Alegre 828.

From Baixa, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Avenida dos Aliados. Take the STCP bus number 200 towards Foz do Douro. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Passeio Alegre' bus stop. From there, it's just a short walk along R. do Passeio Alegre to reach your destination at R. do Passeio Alegre 828.
