Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town center of Seia, which is well-connected to major roads in the region. From Seia, take the N231 road towards Loriga. Continue on this road for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the village of Loriga. Once in Loriga, follow the signs towards Miradouro Serra do Açor. The viewpoint is located just a short drive from the village center, about 4 kilometers up the N339 road. The scenic drive will lead you through beautiful mountainous landscapes, and there is parking available at the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, you can take a bus from Seia to Loriga. The bus company 'Rodoviária da Beira' operates services between these two locations. Check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary. Once you arrive in Loriga, you can either walk (approximately 4 kilometers) to Miradouro Serra do Açor or consider using a local taxi service, which should cost around €10-€15. Walking to the viewpoint allows you to enjoy the stunning natural scenery along the way.
