If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Castro Daire, which is a common access point for Serra do Montemuro. Head northwest on N2 towards the village of Cinfães. After approximately 12 km, turn onto CM1022. Continue driving along CM1022 for around 15 km, and you will find Poço Negro located on the right side of the road. Look for the sign indicating the attraction, and you can park your car nearby.

Public Transportation

To reach Poço Negro using public transportation, take a bus from Castro Daire to Cinfães; this route is serviced by local transport companies. Once you arrive in Cinfães, you will need to take a taxi or arrange a ride, as there is limited public transport along CM1022. The taxi ride will take around 15 minutes, and the fare should be approximately €15. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting the journey.
