Getting There

    From the center of Setúbal, head towards the Setúbal Train Station. Once there, take the train towards Lisbon (Almada direction). The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at the Lisbon Train Station (Santa Apolónia), exit the station and walk straight to the main road (Rua da Aliança Nacional). Turn left and continue until you reach the riverfront. From there, follow the signs towards Alfama. Walk along the river until you reach the Praça do Comércio, then continue into Alfama. Largo do Salvador is a short walk uphill from the main square.

    Start at Setúbal's bus station and take the bus number 570 towards Lisbon. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. Get off at Praça do Comércio. From there, you can either walk to Largo do Salvador (about 15 minutes uphill) or take tram 28 from the square, which will take you closer to Alfama. Get off at the stop for 'Largo da Graça', then walk about 5 minutes to Largo do Salvador.
