Travel Guide to Largo Dr. Francisco Soveral

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Setúbal train station (Estação Ferroviária de Setúbal), exit the station and head south towards Avenida 5 de Outubro. Walk straight along this avenue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua da Liberdade. Continue walking straight on Rua da Liberdade, which will turn into Rua do Comércio. Follow this road until you reach Praça do Brasil. From there, take the exit onto Avenida José Mourinho, and continue walking until you reach Largo do Dr. Francisco Soveral, which is located on your left.

• Public Transport

  From the Setúbal city center, you can take bus number 5 or 12 towards 'Cabo Espichel'. Board the bus from the nearest bus stop to your location. Ride for about 10-15 minutes and get off at the stop named 'Largo do Dr. Francisco Soveral'. The destination will be a short walk from the bus stop, just a few meters away.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Setúbal. Start from the waterfront area (Cais 1) and bike along the waterfront promenade towards the city center. When you reach Praça do Brasil, take a left onto Avenida José Mourinho. Continue straight until you reach Largo do Dr. Francisco Soveral. There are bike lanes along most of the route, making it a safe and enjoyable ride.
