If you are starting in the city center of Setúbal, head to the Praça do Brasil, a well-known square. From there, walk towards the Avenida Luísa Todi and follow it until you reach the intersection with the Rua da Liberdade. Turn left onto Rua da Liberdade and continue straight until you reach the Estrada de Palmela. Vanicelos Park is located on Estr. de Palmela 82, so keep walking straight until you see the park entrance on your right.

From Setúbal city center, you can catch the local bus at the terminal near Praça do Brasil. Look for buses heading towards Palmela. You will want to get off at the stop called 'Estrada de Palmela'. Once you alight, walk back towards the direction of the bus for about 5 minutes; Vanicelos Park will be on your left-hand side at Estr. de Palmela 82.
