Walking
If you are at the Setúbal train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenida 5 de Outubro). Walk straight down Avenida 5 de Outubro until you reach the roundabout. Here, take the first exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Continue walking straight until you reach the waterfront. You will see the beautiful views of the river and the city of Lisbon across. From here, follow the riverbank towards the north, walking along the promenade. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will come across a large square with impressive architecture – this is Praça do Comércio.

To reach Praça do Comércio from Setúbal, take the bus from Setúbal bus station to Lisbon. Look for the 'Setúbal - Lisboa' buses. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Lisbon bus terminal, exit the terminal and head towards the metro station. Take the metro line (blue line) towards Santa Apolónia and get off at Terreiro do Paço station. Exit the station and you will find yourself at Praça do Comércio.
