Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the center of Sintra, start by heading to the Sintra train station. From the station, follow the signs to the historic town center. Walk along the main road until you reach the Sintra National Palace. Continue straight until you reach the exit of the town. You will need to take a train to Lisbon. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Rossio Station in Lisbon, exit the station and walk towards Praça dos Restauradores. From there, take the Avenida da Liberdade toward the Marques de Pombal roundabout. Continue on Avenida da Liberdade until you reach the intersection with Rua Mesquita. Turn right onto Rua Mesquita, and the Lisbon Central Mosque will be on your left at number 2.

  • Bus

    Make your way to the Sintra bus stop near the Sintra train station. Board the Scotturb bus number 403 in the direction of Lisbon. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Campo Pequeno stop. From the bus stop, walk toward Avenida de Berna and take the first left onto Rua de Berna. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua Mesquita. Turn right onto Rua Mesquita, and the Lisbon Central Mosque will be located at number 2 on your left.

  • Train

    From Sintra, walk to the Sintra train station, which is well-signposted. Purchase a ticket for the train to Lisbon (Rossio station). The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rossio station, exit and walk toward Praça dos Restauradores. From there, proceed up Avenida da Liberdade until you reach the Marques de Pombal roundabout. Continue straight and take the first right onto Rua Mesquita. The Lisbon Central Mosque will be at number 2 on your left.
