Train & Walk
Start by taking the train from Sintra Station to the Colares Station. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Colares Station, exit the station and head east on Rua da Liberdade. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Rua da Praia. Turn left onto Rua da Praia, and continue walking until you reach the beach area. From there, you will need to hike approximately 30 minutes along the coastal path to reach Praia da Ursa. Look for signs that lead you towards the beach, and be prepared for some steep and rocky sections along the way.

Take the bus number 440 from Sintra to Colares. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Colares, disembark at the main square near the church. From there, start walking towards the north on Avenida das Acácias. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a fork in the road; take the left path towards Praia da Ursa. Continue along the trail, which will lead you through scenic views and eventually to the beach. The hike will take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
