    From Sintra station, take the train towards Cascais. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Cascais station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenida de Sintra. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. From there, continue straight on Rua Frederico Arouca until you reach the beach. Follow the coastal road, Avenida Dom Carlos I, towards the west. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will see Praceta Farol on your right. The Santa Maria House Museum is located at the end of the square.

    From the Sintra center, walk to the bus stop near the Sintra National Palace. Take bus number 441 towards Cascais. The bus ride will take around 25 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Cascais Centro.' From the bus stop, walk straight down Rua Dr. José de Almeida until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight on Avenida de Sintra, and then follow Rua Frederico Arouca until you reach the beach. Follow Avenida Dom Carlos I towards the west for about 10 minutes, and you will find Praceta Farol on your right, where the Santa Maria House Museum is located.
