From Sintra, head to the Sintra train station located in the center of the town. Take the train towards Lisbon (Lisboa). The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Rossio station in Lisbon, exit the station and head out onto Praça dos Restauradores, which is right in front of you.

From Praça dos Restauradores, walk towards the Avenida da Liberdade. As you reach the Avenida, take a left and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, turn right onto R. do Jardim do Regedor, then continue straight until you reach R. Serpa Pinto. The National Museum of Contemporary Art will be on your left at number 4.

From Sintra, take the train to Rossio station, then transfer to the Lisbon Metro at the Rossio station. Take the Green line towards Cais do Sodré, and get off at the Baixa-Chiado station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the Rua Garrett, then turn right onto Rua Serpa Pinto. The museum will be on your left at number 4.
