    Getting There

    Train

    From Sintra station, take the train towards Lisbon. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Rossio station in Lisbon, exit the station and head towards the Avenida da Liberdade, which is about a 15-minute walk. As you exit the station, turn left onto Rua 1º de Dezembro and continue straight until you reach the large square, Praça dos Restauradores. From there, walk up Rua da Liberdade, which will lead you directly to Avenida da Liberdade.

    Bus

    Take the Scotturb bus number 403 from Sintra to Lisbon. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the last stop, 'Marquês de Pombal'. From there, walk towards Avenida da Liberdade, which is just a few minutes away. Cross the avenue and continue walking straight; you will find yourself on Avenida da Liberdade, a famous and picturesque street in Lisbon.

    If you are already in central Sintra, you can enjoy a walking tour. Start at the Sintra Town Center and head towards the Sintra Train Station. Follow the path down to the station, then take the train to Lisbon as mentioned above. Alternatively, you can simply walk to Avenida da Liberdade from Rossio station, making your way through the scenic streets of Lisbon to reach your destination.
