Walking
If you are at the Viana do Castelo city center, head towards the main square, Praça da República. From there, walk north along Rua da Bandeira for about 10 minutes until you reach the riverfront. Continue along the river until you see the bridge, Ponte Eiffel. Cross the bridge and follow the signs towards the train station (Estação de Viana do Castelo). Once at the station, take a train to Braga, which takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Braga train station, exit the station and head east on Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach Braga Norte. The Palácio do Raio will be on your left at number 920.

From your location in Viana do Castelo, head towards the nearest bus stop. Catch a bus heading to Braga (make sure to check the bus schedule for timings). The journey will take around 40-50 minutes. Upon arriving at the main bus terminal in Braga, exit and walk towards Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight on this avenue until you reach Braga Norte. The Palácio do Raio is located at number 920, just a few minutes walk from the bus terminal.
