    From Vila Real city center, head to the main bus station located at Rua de Antero de Quental. You can catch the bus to Peso da Régua, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Buses run frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive at the Peso da Régua bus station, exit the station and walk straight down Rua do Marquês de Pombal for about 10 minutes until you reach the Edifício Museu do Douro on your left.

    Begin your journey at the Vila Real train station located at Rua da Estação. Take the train heading towards Peso da Régua. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Peso da Régua station, exit the station and turn right onto Avenida Dr. José Rodrigues. Walk straight until you reach Rua do Marquês de Pombal, then turn left. Continue walking for about 5 minutes to reach the Edifício Museu do Douro.
