    Getting There

    Walking

    Start in the center of Vila Real at the Praça do Município. Head south on Rua do Comércio towards Rua 1º de Maio. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 10 de Junho. Turn left onto Avenida 10 de Junho and walk straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes, making it a pleasant walk. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Miradouro da Veiga. As you continue, you will approach the edge of the city; the views will start to open up. After approximately 1 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the right path leading uphill. Follow this road for about 10 minutes until you see the sign for Miradouro da Veiga. The viewpoint will be on your left, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

    Public Transport

    From the central bus station in Vila Real, take bus number 3 towards 'Cabo do Mundo'. The bus will take you closer to the vicinity of Miradouro da Veiga. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'Cabo do Mundo' stop. From there, it is a short walk. Head back down the road you came from and take the first left onto a smaller path that leads uphill. Walk for about 10-15 minutes, and you will reach Miradouro da Veiga, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views.
