From Vila Real city center, head to the bus station located at Avenida 10 de Junho. Take the bus to Pinhão; the journey takes about 30 minutes. Buses typically run every hour. Once you arrive at Pinhão, follow the main road (N323) for about 1 kilometer toward the east. You will see Quinta da Roêda | Croft Port on your left. It is a vineyard and winery, easily identifiable by its entrance and signage.

If you are at the central square in Vila Real (Praça do Município), head east along Rua 31 de Janeiro. Continue straight until you reach Avenida 10 de Junho, where you will find the bus station. From there, take the bus to Pinhão as described above. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, it’s approximately a 10 km journey to Pinhão along the scenic route following the Douro River. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
