    From Vila Real, head to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Vila Real, which is located on Avenida 10 de Junho. Look for a bus heading towards Pinhão. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Pinhão, exit the bus terminal and walk down towards the river. Continue straight along Rua da Estação until you reach the junction with Rua de Cima. Turn left onto Rua de Cima and follow the road. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Quinta do Infantado on your right.

    From Vila Real, make your way to the nearest train station, which is located in the nearby town of Peso da Régua. You can take a local bus or a taxi to reach the train station. Once at the train station, take a train towards Pinhão. The train ride offers beautiful views of the Douro Valley and lasts approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at Pinhão station, exit the station and walk straight down towards the river. Continue along the main road, Rua da Estação, and turn left onto Rua de Cima. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach Quinta do Infantado.
