Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards the coastal area of Vilamoura, following the signs for Quarteira. Once you reach the roundabout at the Marina, take the exit onto Avenida da Marina. Continue straight until you reach another roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida do Parque. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see signs directing you to Farol de Vilamoura. Follow these signs, and you'll arrive at the lighthouse, which is located at 8125-507 Quarteira.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Farol de Vilamoura using public transport, you can take the local bus (Linha 1) from Vilamoura to Quarteira. The bus departs regularly from the Vilamoura bus station. After about a 15-minute ride, get off at the Quarteira stop. From there, it's a 20-minute walk towards the coastline. Head south on Rua José de Almada Negreiros, then continue onto Avenida Infante de Sagres, which will lead you directly to the Farol de Vilamoura. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.

• Walking

  If you are located in the central area of Vilamoura, you can walk to the Farol de Vilamoura. Start by heading south on Avenida da Marina towards the beach. Once you reach the beach, follow the promenade eastwards along the coastline. This scenic walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you'll enjoy views of the ocean. Continue walking until you reach the lighthouse at the end of the beach.
