If you're driving from Arecibo town center, head west on PR-2 (Avenida Luis Muñoz Marín). Continue for about 15 miles. As you approach Quebradillas, take the exit for PR-113 towards Quebradillas. Merge onto PR-113 and follow the signs for Guajataca. Once you reach Guajataca, look for the entrance to the Guajataca State Forest which is well marked. There is parking available at the entrance.

To reach Guajataca using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Arecibo to Quebradillas. The bus stop is located near Plaza de Arecibo. Once you arrive in Quebradillas, you can catch a taxi or a local colectivo (shared taxi) to Guajataca. Inform the driver that you want to go to Guajataca State Forest, and they will guide you directly to the entrance. The total travel time may take approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on the wait times for buses and taxis.
