    If you are in the central area of Arecibo, start at the Plaza de Arecibo located at the intersection of Avenida Pedro A. Marquez and Calle Victoria. Head east on Calle Victoria for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Avenida José de Diego. Turn left onto Avenida José de Diego and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. You will see signs directing you towards the Arecibo Observatory. Keep an eye out for the large white dish structure; it will be visible from a distance.
