Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Arecibo Lighthouse and Historical Park. Head south on PR-2. Walk along the road until you reach Avenida Jesús T. Piñero. Turn left onto Avenida Jesús T. Piñero and continue walking for about 1.5 km. You will see signs for the Túnel de Guajataca. Follow the signs towards Isabela and keep walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida Noel Estrada. Turn right onto Avenida Noel Estrada, and the Túnel de Guajataca will be a short walk ahead on your left.

  • Public Bus

    From the Arecibo Plaza, take the public bus heading towards Isabela. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus stops at Avenida Noel Estrada. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Avenida Noel Estrada, get off the bus and walk a short distance. The Túnel de Guajataca will be located nearby on your left.
