Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Bayamón Plaza, which is located at the intersection of Calle San Juan and Avenida José de Diego. Head east on Calle San Juan until you reach Avenida de la Constitución. Turn left onto Avenida de la Constitución and walk straight until you reach the Bayamón train station ('Estación Bayamón'). From the station, board the 'Tren Urbano' towards 'Santurce'. Stay on the train for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Sagrado Corazón' station. Exit the station and head northeast on Avenida de la Constitución. Walk for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida Ponce de León. Continue walking straight and you will arrive in the area of San Juan Antiguo, where Fortín del Escambrón is located.

  • Public Bus

    From the Bayamón Plaza, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the 'D53' bus heading towards San Juan. Stay on the bus for around 30 minutes and get off at the stop near 'Parque Luis Muñoz Marín'. From there, walk towards the coast along Avenida de la Constitución until you reach the entrance of Fortín del Escambrón. This route allows you to enjoy the coastal views as you approach your destination.
