Once you're at the terminal, look for the bus marked '53 - Bayamón to San Juan'. This bus will take you directly to the San Juan area. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in San Juan, get off at the stop nearest to the Old San Juan area, which is usually at 'San Juan - Paseo de la Princesa'. From there, you can walk towards Viejo San Juan, following signs or asking locals for directions.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Bayamón to Viejo San Juan. Find a taxi at a designated taxi stand, or ask your hotel for assistance in calling one. The journey typically takes about 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Viejo San Juan, and they will take you directly to the area.

Public Transportation - Train and Bus
Another option is to take the urban train (Tren Urbano). Start by walking to the Bayamón Tren Urbano station, which is located near the Plaza de Bayamón. Board the train heading towards Santurce. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Sagrado Corazón' station. From there, transfer to bus route D53, which will take you to the Old San Juan area. The entire journey can take about 45-60 minutes, so make sure to plan accordingly.
