From Cabo Rojo, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on PR-100, near the Plaza de Cabo Rojo. Look for the bus heading to Rincón; these buses often have signs indicating their destination. Make sure to check the schedule, as buses may not run frequently. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the bus stop closest to El Faro de Rincón. From there, walk towards the coastline, and you will see the lighthouse in the distance.

Taxi or Rideshare
You can easily request a taxi or rideshare service like Uber from anywhere in Cabo Rojo. Simply provide the driver with the destination: El Faro de Rincón, 00602. The ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the lighthouse area. Be sure to ask to be dropped off at the entrance where you can walk to the base of the lighthouse.

Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Cabo Rojo. Once you have your bike, head towards PR-100 and follow the road northwest towards Rincón. The ride will take about an hour. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to El Faro de Rincón as you approach the coast. When you get close, you’ll start to see the lighthouse; follow the path leading directly to it.

If you are feeling energetic and the weather is nice, you can walk to El Faro de Rincón from Cabo Rojo. Begin at the Plaza de Cabo Rojo and head towards PR-100. Follow this road heading northwest for approximately 6 miles. It may take around 2 hours, so ensure you have water and wear comfortable shoes. As you approach Rincón, watch for signs directing you to the lighthouse; you will be able to see it from a distance as you get closer.
