Getting There

Walking
Start at the Cabo Rojo Plaza (Plaza de Recreo) located at 17.9470, -67.1455. From the plaza, head west on Calle José de Diego until you reach the intersection with Calle Comercio. Turn left onto Calle Comercio and continue walking until you reach the junction with Route 100. Cross Route 100 carefully, then continue straight. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a sign for the Historic Bridge Ruins on your left. Follow the path leading to the ruins.

Public Transport
From the Cabo Rojo Plaza, take a local guagua (public minibus) that heads towards the Cabo Rojo Lighthouse. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the bridge ruins. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk back a short distance along the road to find the entrance to the Historic Bridge Ruins.

If you are renting a bike, start at the Cabo Rojo Plaza. Head west on Calle José de Diego, then take a left onto Calle Comercio. Continue towards Route 100. Once you reach Route 100, turn right and bike along the road for about 2 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating the Historic Bridge Ruins on your left. There is a small path leading up to the ruins.
