Walking
If you are in the center of Caguas, start by heading to Plaza del Mercado. From the plaza, walk towards Avenida Luis Muñoz Marín. Continue straight until you reach the bus stop at the corner of the avenue and Calle de la Fortaleza. Take a bus heading towards San Juan. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the stop closest to La Fortaleza, which is located at 63 C. de la Fortaleza. From the bus stop, walk towards the fortress for about 5 minutes, and you will reach your destination.

Begin your journey at the Caguas Bus Terminal, located near Plaza del Mercado. Look for buses that are heading to San Juan. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you wish to go to La Fortaleza. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in San Juan, disembark at the stop closest to La Fortaleza. You may need to ask locals for the best stop, but generally, it will be on Calle de la Fortaleza. Walk for about 5 minutes to reach La Fortaleza.
