Car
If you are driving from the main entrance of the Caribbean National Forest, head east on PR-191. Continue for about 10 minutes until you reach PR-3. Turn left onto PR-3 and follow the signs for Loíza. After approximately 5 miles, turn right onto PR-6. Continue on PR-6 for about 4 miles until you reach the coordinates 18°27'08.65" N, 65°54'11.7" W where Playa Vacía Talega is located. Parking is available near the beach.

Public Transportation
From the main entrance of the Caribbean National Forest, take the public bus (Guagua) route that heads towards Loíza. You will need to ask the driver for the stop closest to PR-6. Once you get off, it is about a 20-minute walk to Playa Vacía Talega. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as public transportation may not run frequently.
