Bus
From your location in Carolina, find the nearest bus stop for the public transit system. Look for the buses that head towards Loíza. You can take the 'Carolina to Loíza' route. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Loíza, ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Playa Piñones. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk along the main road (PR-187) towards the beach. Follow the signs that indicate the direction to Playa Piñones.
Walking
If you are near the beach area of Carolina, you can walk towards Playa Piñones. Start by heading east along the coast. Walk towards the PR-187 road. Keep walking along this road for about 3 miles. You'll pass by local shops and restaurants. Once you reach Loíza, the beach will be on your left. Look for signs pointing towards Playa Piñones, and you will find the entrance to the beach.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Carolina to Playa Piñones. Start on the PR-187 road, heading east. The ride will take you about 30 minutes. This route is scenic and takes you along the coast. Make sure to follow the bike lanes where available, and be cautious of traffic as you approach Loíza. Once you see signs for Playa Piñones, you can park your bicycle and enjoy the beach.
