Getting There

• Public Bus

  From any central location in Carolina, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for the public bus route that goes towards Isla Verde or the beach areas. Buses usually have clear signs indicating their routes. You will want to take 'Ruta 53', which is known to service the beach areas. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop closest to El Alambique Beach; you can ask the bus driver to let you know when you're near. The walk from the bus stop to the beach is approximately 5-10 minutes.

• Walking Directions

  If you are near the Carolina public beach areas, you can walk to El Alambique Beach. Start at the intersection of Avenida Isla Verde and Calle Cangrejo. Head east on Avenida Isla Verde towards Calle Los Ángeles. Continue straight until you reach the beach access point. It’s a straight walk and should take about 15-20 minutes. Follow the signs for El Alambique Beach along the way.

• Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

  Open your rideshare app (Uber or Lyft) and enter 'El Alambique Beach' or the address 'Carolina, 00979' as your destination. If you're at a well-known location, such as a hotel or another beach, you can use that as your pickup point. The rideshare will take you directly to the beach entrance, and the trip will typically last around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. There are several rental shops in Carolina, especially around the Isla Verde area. Once you have your bike, head towards Avenida Isla Verde and follow the road until you reach the entrance to El Alambique Beach. The bike ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, and it’s a pleasant route along the coast.
