Bus
To get to Playa Ocean Park from Carolina, head to the nearest bus stop for the public transportation system called 'AMA.' You can catch the 'B' bus line heading toward San Juan. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Ave. Isla Verde and Calle Loiza. From there, transfer to the 'A' line which will take you closer to the beach. Get off at the stop labeled 'Playa Ocean Park.' From this stop, it’s just a short walk to the beach entrance.
Taxi
If you'd prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi. Look for a taxi stand near your location in Carolina or use a ride-hailing app. Ask the driver to take you to Playa Ocean Park in San Juan. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are near the beachfront area in Carolina, you can walk to Playa Ocean Park. Head towards the main road, Ave. Isla Verde, and continue walking towards San Juan. You will pass by many shops and restaurants along the way. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Loiza, then turn left. Continue walking until you reach the beach. It’s about a 1.5 to 2-mile walk, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
