Car
From the town of Utuado, take Route 10 North towards Lares. Continue on Route 10 for approximately 15 miles. You will see signs for Guajataca Lake. Turn left onto Route 119. Follow Route 119 for about 5 miles until you reach the entrance to Guajataca Lake. The lake is well marked, and there is parking available near the lake.
Public Transportation
Take a public bus from the nearest town, Utuado, to Lares. Make sure to ask the bus driver if they stop at the Guajataca Lake area or if they can drop you off nearby. Once you arrive at the bus stop closest to Guajataca Lake, it is about a 15-minute walk to the lake entrance. Follow the road towards Route 119 until you see the lake entrance sign.
