Getting There

Walking
From the main ferry terminal in Culebra, head south on Av. Pedro Marquez toward Calle Pedro Marquez. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle La Cueva. Turn left and follow this road until you reach the small plaza. From the plaza, continue walking down Calle Los Rosales until you reach the main road, PR-251. Turn right onto PR-251 and walk towards the entrance of the Culebra National Wildlife Refuge. You will continue walking on PR-251 for about 2 miles until you reach the fork in the road. Keep left onto PR-251, which will take you toward the trailhead for Torre Yokahú.

Biking
Rent a bike from one of the local shops near the ferry terminal. Start your ride heading south on Av. Pedro Marquez and turn left onto Calle La Cueva. Continue to the plaza, then head down Calle Los Rosales. Once you reach PR-251, turn right and follow this main road. After about 2 miles, you'll come to a fork; stay left on PR-251 until you reach the Torre Yokahú trailhead. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.

Hiking
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can hike to Torre Yokahú directly from the main ferry terminal. Start by walking south on Av. Pedro Marquez and then turn onto Calle La Cueva. Continue to the plaza and down Calle Los Rosales to reach PR-251. Once on PR-251, you’ll need to hike for approximately 2 miles. Be sure to stay left at the fork in the road, leading you to the Torre Yokahú trailhead. The hike will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your fitness level.
