Car
From El Yunque National Forest, start by exiting the park and getting onto PR-191. Follow PR-191 south until you reach the intersection with PR-3. Turn left on PR-3 and continue for about 10 miles. Look for the signs for San Juan and merge onto PR-26 W (Expreso Las Américas). Stay on PR-26 for approximately 15 minutes until you see signs for Old San Juan. Take the exit for PR-1 S, which will lead you directly into Old San Juan. Follow the road until you reach C. de la Fortaleza, where you will find your destination at 100 C. de la Fortaleza, San Juan, 00901. Parking may be available in nearby garages, typically costing around $10-$20 for the day.

Public Transportation
To reach Old San Juan from El Yunque National Forest using public transportation, you will first need to get to the nearest bus stop. Head to the main road (PR-191) and catch the "Caribbean Bus" (Bus #40) heading towards Fajardo. The bus fare is approximately $2.00. From Fajardo, transfer to Bus #53, which goes directly to San Juan. The fare for this bus is also around $2.00. Once you arrive in San Juan, you can either walk or take a local bus (T5) to Old San Juan. The walking distance is about 1.5 miles, or you can catch the T5 for a small fee. Ultimately, you will reach your destination at 100 C. de la Fortaleza, San Juan, 00901.
