If you're driving, start by heading east on Route 333 from any point within Guánica Dry Forest Reserve. Follow Route 333 until you reach the junction with Route 2. Turn right onto Route 2 and continue for approximately 6 miles. Look for the signs indicating Guajataca Lake, which will be on your left. Once you see the sign, turn left onto Road 446, and follow it until you reach the lake's parking area.

To reach Guajataca Lake via public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Guánica to the nearest town that connects to Route 2, which might be Yauco or San Germán. Once you reach Route 2, look for another bus that heads towards Aguadilla. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Guajataca Lake stop. After disembarking, follow the road signs to walk to the lake, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
