Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Guánica, start at the Plaza de Guánica. Head east on Calle José de Diego towards Calle San Francisco. Turn left onto Calle San Francisco and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 116. Cross Route 116 carefully and continue walking straight onto the dirt path that leads into the hills. Follow the path for about 2.5 kilometers. You'll see signs pointing you toward Cañón Blanco. Keep an eye out for the natural surroundings and enjoy the scenery as you approach your destination.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From Guánica, make your way to the nearest bus stop for the local guaguas (public vans). These can often be found near the Plaza de Guánica or along Route 116. Look for a guagua headed towards Utuado. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Cañón Blanco. The trip will take approximately 30 minutes. When you get off the bus, you may need to walk a short distance following signs toward Cañón Blanco. The surrounding area is well-marked, and locals can direct you if needed.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Guánica. Once you have your bike, head out towards Route 116, following the directions for walking. The bike ride to Cañón Blanco will take roughly 20-30 minutes. Make sure to stay on the designated paths and enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way. Once you arrive, there are bike racks available for you to secure your bicycle.
