From the central area of Guánica, head towards the main road (PR-333). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with the coastal road. At this intersection, you will see signs directing you towards Playa Caña Gorda. Follow these signs as you turn onto PR-333. Continue walking for approximately 0.7 miles along the road. You will pass by several local houses and small shops. After passing a few local eateries, keep an eye out for signs indicating the entrance to Playa Caña Gorda on your right. The entrance is marked, and you will see a small parking area and pathways leading down to the beach.

Start at the central plaza in Guánica and locate the nearest bus stop for public transportation (known locally as 'guaguas'). Take a guagua heading towards Playa Caña Gorda. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver your destination, as they will help you know when to get off. Once you arrive at the Playa Caña Gorda stop, you'll need to walk a short distance (about 0.2 miles) toward the beach entrance. The path is straightforward, and you will see signs pointing towards the beach.
