Walking
From the central plaza of Guayama, head east on Calle José de Diego towards Avenida José de Diego. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with PR-14. Turn left onto PR-14 and proceed for about 1.5 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Bosque Estatal de Carite. Once you reach the entrance, follow the path to the visitor center.
Public Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop that serves the route to Bosque Estatal de Carite. Buses usually run from the main plaza or central bus terminal in Guayama. Board the bus that heads towards San Juan and inform the driver you want to stop at Bosque Estatal de Carite. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop, follow the signs to the entrance of the park.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the main plaza and ride east along Calle José de Diego. After approximately 1 mile, turn left onto PR-14. Continue biking for about 1.5 miles. There are bike paths along certain stretches of the route. Once you see the signs for Bosque Estatal de Carite, park your bicycle at the visitor center.
