Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central area of Guayama, head towards the intersection of Calle Luis Muñoz Marín and Calle José de Diego. Walk east along Calle Luis Muñoz Marín until you reach the main road (PR-3). Cross the road and continue walking towards the south. After approximately 1 mile, the road will lead you to a small path on your left that leads to the Jobos Bay National Estuary Research Reserve.

  • Public Transport

    You can take a local guagua (small bus) from Guayama to Salinas. Board the guagua at the nearest stop, usually located near Plaza de Recreo. Inform the driver you wish to get off at the nearest stop to Jobos Bay. Once you get off, walk approximately 0.5 miles southeast along the coastal road until you reach the entrance of Jobos Bay National Estuary Research Reserve.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Guayama. Start your journey from the main square and head toward PR-3. Follow PR-3 south for about 2 miles, then turn left onto the access road that leads directly to Jobos Bay National Estuary Research Reserve.
