Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Guayama town center, head south on Calle Luis A. Ferré. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Autopista Luis A. Ferré (PR-52). Turn right onto the Autopista. After about 500 meters, you will see the Monumento al Jibaro Puertorriqueño on your left, just off the road. It's a prominent landmark, so you should easily spot it.

    From the Guayama town center, look for a public bus heading towards Salinas. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to go to the Monumento al Jibaro Puertorriqueño. The bus will take you along the main road. Once you get to the stop near the Autopista Luis A. Ferré, disembark. The monument is a short walk from the bus stop, located just off the road on your left.
