Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main town in La Cordillera Central, such as Adjuntas or Utuado. Head southeast on PR-10 towards Jayuya. Continue on PR-10 for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the town of Jayuya. Once in Jayuya, look for PR-143 and turn left. Follow PR-143 for about 5 minutes until you see signs directing you to Río Saliente. Parking is available nearby, but be sure to check for any local parking regulations.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a guagua (public van) from Adjuntas or Utuado to Jayuya. Look for the guaguas heading towards Jayuya, and ask the driver to drop you off at the main plaza. From the plaza, you can either walk or take a local taxi to PR-143. The taxi fare might range from $5-$10 depending on the distance and negotiation. Once you’re on PR-143, follow the signs to Río Saliente.

If you are already in the vicinity and prefer walking, from the center of Jayuya, head towards PR-143. It is roughly a 30-minute walk from the town center to the river. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and bring water, as the path may be uneven and the weather can be warm.
