Walking
From the central square of Manatí, head towards Calle José de Diego and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Carr. 2. Turn left onto Carr. 2 and continue walking until you reach the bus stop for the San Juan bus route. Take the bus heading to San Juan, which will take you to the capital city. Once you arrive in San Juan, disembark at the 'San Juan Antiguo' stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront and follow the signs leading to 'Caleta de San Juan'. The Puerta de San Juan will be visible as you approach the historic area.
Public Transportation
Start at the main bus terminal in Manatí, located near Plaza de Manatí. Take the 'Metro' bus service that goes to San Juan. Notify the driver that you want to get off at 'San Juan Antiguo'. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Old San Juan area, and make your way to the waterfront. The Puerta de San Juan is located near the Caleta de San Juan, and you should be able to see it as you approach the old city walls.
