Car
If you're driving, start by getting onto PR-1 or PR-26, which will lead you into the heart of San Juan. Follow signs for San Juan Centro and keep an eye out for Old San Juan. Once you reach the Old San Juan area, look for parking options available nearby, such as street parking or garages. The nearest parking garage is located at Plaza de Armas. After parking, walk towards Calle de la Fortaleza, where Plaza Colón is located. It’s a short 10-minute walk from the garage.

Public Transportation
To reach Plaza Colón using public transportation, take the public bus (known as 'Guaguas') that operates in the San Juan area. Look for the bus labeled 'Sagrado Corazón' or 'Santurce' which will take you towards Old San Juan. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Plaza de Armas. From there, walk towards Calle de la Fortaleza. Plaza Colón will be just a few minutes away. Alternatively, you can take the Tren Urbano (urban train) to the 'Sagrado Corazón' station and transfer to the bus from there to Old San Juan.
