If you are in Old San Juan, start at Plaza de Armas, which is the central square. From Plaza de Armas, head southwest towards Calle San Francisco. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle del Cristo. Turn left onto Calle del Cristo and walk until you reach the end of the street. At the end, you will see the historic San Juan Gate (Puerta de San Juan). Pass through the gate, and you will find yourself at Paseo de la Princesa, a scenic promenade along the waterfront.

If you are near Castillo San Felipe del Morro, exit the fort and walk towards the main road (Calle de la Fortaleza). From there, head southeast until you reach the intersection with Calle San Francisco. Turn right and continue until you reach Calle del Cristo, where you will turn left. Follow Calle del Cristo until you reach the San Juan Gate. Once you pass through the gate, you will arrive at Paseo de la Princesa.

If you're staying outside Old San Juan, take the public bus (Routes D53, D40, or D30) that heads to the Old San Juan area. Get off at the stop near Plaza de Armas. From there, follow the walking directions provided above to reach Paseo de la Princesa.
